Location and Transportation

Longhe Park is located in the center of the Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei (BTH) city cluster, approximately halfway between Beijing and Tianjin. It is an important part of Bohai Economic Rim and the BTH region. It has access to a vertical transportation network. This network consists of high-speed rail (HSR), expressway, railway, airports, and ports, and is only 1.8 kilometers away from Langfang Stop of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail. This network aside, it is also accessible to 11 expressways, 6 national railways, 3 major international airports, and 3 major seaports. Moving forward, it will also gain access to transportation projects under planning, i.e. Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Beijing-Tianjin Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai HSR, and Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Intercity HSR.

Overall Planning

The total planned area in the first phase is 40 square kilometers.

Positioning

As on the coordinated and differentiated development strategy of the BTH region is unfolding, enterprises in Beijing will be relocated elsewhere. To become a home to these relocated businesses, we are staking our efforts on central enterprises, SOEs and renowned private firms to build a high-end "smart manufacturing" industrial system with "one pillar and twin engines."

One pillar ---modern services: Global Logistic Properties, Red Star Macalline, Tianfu Center, and Thumb Plaza of Zendai.

Twin engines - a new generation of information technology and high-end smart equipment industry: FIH Mobile Limited, Dingwei, China State Construction Machinery, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China National Nuclear Corporation.

"3 + 2" industry cluster (electronic information, equipment manufacturing, modern services, auto parts, and energy conservation and environment protection)

In recent years, the high-tech zone has realized a total accumulative industrial output of RMB90 billion, and has paid circa RMB 6 billion tax to the district. It has exported goods and services of USD 3.2 billion. It also has created jobs for more than 70,000 people. The leading industry cluster has a positive impact, leading to increased capability in scientific and technological innovation and the formation of a modernized industrial.
